Newly signed http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fabio-Borini-c13163 revealed that Brendan Rodgers played a major role in orchestrating his move to Anfield, and admitted that he was excited about working under the Northern Irishman again.
The Reds, who have finally made their first signing this summer, have reportedly bought the player for a transfer fee in the range of 11 million pounds.
Earlier, the Italian International worked alongside Rodgers at Swansea City during a brief loan spell at the Liberty Stadium, and also remained under his supervision in Chelsea’s reserve squad.

Nevertheless, Borini unravelled that he was impressed with the playing philosophy of the former Swans manager and his close relationship with Rodgers was the main reason behind his transfer.
While talking to reporters, he said: “He [Rodgers] was very important. I wouldn't say it was the key, but most of it came from him… First of all it is a relationship of friendship and afterwards it is a working one. That is more important than anything.”
The Bologna native was also in awe for Rodgers’ accomplishments at the Welsh club, and indicated that he enjoyed playing with the 4-3-3 formation during his stay at the Liberty Stadium.
He also felt that the Irishman won a lot of admirers because of the Swans eye catching brand of football which they displayed last season, and described it as the best way of playing the game.
When asked how he felt upon becoming a part of the Anfield family, the striker responded by saying that he always wanted to make a return to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749, and was ever happier upon getting the opportunity to represent a club of Liverpool’s stature.
The former Parma player also let out his excitement of pairing up with the Reds star striker, Luis Suarez upfront, and insisted that the Uruguayan International was one of the hottest properties in Europe.
“I've watched a few games, and all of Europe wants him. Every player wants to play with him, so it will be a pleasure.”
