Newly signed Liverpool striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fabio-Borini-c13163 has revealed that he refused to take a lengthy leave following the completion of his international duties in the European Championships, in order to accustom himself to the atmosphere at Anfield.
The 21-year old was a part of the Azzurri squad for the recently held Euro 2012 competition in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ukraine-c3032, and was hence entitled to a month-long break following the culmination of the event.

Nevertheless, the striker divulged that instead of taking a prolonged break following the European Championships, he cut short his holiday in order to learn more about the Merseyside club, and wanted to develop a good understanding with his new team-mates
ahead of the next season.
While talking to reporters, he said: “I chose to come early because I think it's important to be with the team, especially because I'm a new player…I chose to come early to get used to the team and adapt more quickly. I am desperate to get started.”
Borini also insisted that since he did not feature in a single game in his country’s Euro campaign, he was not experiencing any kind of fatigue and hence did not require a break.

Talking of his debut game for the Premier League outfit, Borini unravelled that he received a warm welcome from theentire team. He also stated that he had a brief chat with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Steven-Gerrard-c34196 before the start of the match, who were both very
friendly towards him.
The attacker’s move to Anfield has been attributed by many to his desire to play under his former Swansea City manager, Brendan Rodgers, under whom he has also played for the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 reserve team.
Borini confirmed the notion that he enjoyed an excellent relationship with the Northern Irishman, and indicated that he loved playing for him.
“We are very close…It's a good relationship as a friend, as human beings, and then as a working relationship.”
