  1. verbum sapienti satis means a word to the wise

verbum sapienti satis est  means a word to the wise is sufficient

    Not don'f f*** with Boris

  2. I note that when Boris Johnson was Shadow Minister for the Arts, he criticised the Government's Music Manifesto, describing it as 'a document of Wagnerian length with more hot air than the wind section of the London Philharmonic'.  In view of this, may I suggest he adopts the following Latin motto:

'Opera Agenda A Bore', which means 'Tasks to be performed by Boris'.

    Or alternatively:

'Tot Imagines Boris Rides In Omnibus', which means 'So many pictures, Boris - you laugh in them all'.

  3. Boris Johnson Rules, Definitely....

Ken Livingstone can eat my ***.

  4. What's the point in teaching the kids of London Latin?  Surely they must be taught English first!!  We now have some 250 separate languages here in London.  The new Tower of Babel.  Boris should shut up and get on being mayor and stop busying around with the education of our kids.  You know that when a mayor or anyother politico starts wanking with education and health that they're starting to lose the plot.

What Londoners want is an end to the bendy bus and a return of a new Routemaster.
