Born To Survive set to stand first in the Kent Derby Trial Stakes – Div 3
The R. Yeates trained black dog, Born To Survive, will show a sterling performance and finish first in the Kent Derby Trial Stakes – Div 3, a high-voltage Open Race that is scheduled to be held at Sittingbourne racecourse on Sunday night, July 22.
When the action begins at 18:38 (GMT), the two-year-old veteran hound will break from the black box to compete for the prize money worth £200.
The dashing dog will have to unleash rock-solid and calculated run in order to thrive as almost all of his competitors look to be strong enough. He has performed well on various formats of the game, but his records in OR races are not so bright. Despite
this, he is regarded as the strongest candidate on the card.
The talented son of Royal Treason out of Come On Chloe has been enjoying great form since the dawn of 2012. After winning two consecutive T3 races in March, he grabbed a victory each in April and May.
In the month of June, the maverick sprinter marvellously won two A1 races over 450 meters in a row at Oxford. He moved ahead to finish first in his last outing at the same venue on July 14.
This is going to be the dog’s first ever outing over 480 meters. The challenge is big but Born To Survive will be able to cope with it convincingly by applying his inherent racing skills.
Cash Game is the hound who can threaten Born To Survive’s survival. The G. Andreas trained blue dog marvellously won a T4 race by the big margin of 7 ½ lengths on June 3. He stepped forward to accomplish another tremendous triumph by 8-lengths margin on
July 10---it was a T2 race.
In his last OR start, the son of Droopys Scolari out of Bandicoot Spice finished 4th. As a whole, the experienced hound has a number of glaring feats to his credit.
In tonight’s marathon, Born To Survive and Cash Game will have a tough tug of war for the ace title. Let us see who turns the tables in the end. Good luck to the duo.
