Borna Cannon confident to win Jenkinsons Insurance Stakes
The J. Sharp trained black dog, Borna Cannon, is quite confident to claim top spot in the Jenkinsons Insurance Stakes by capitalising on the form produced by his recent feats. The Open Race over 280 meters will be held at Sheffield racecourse on Tuesday
night, July 17.
In the £200 event, the two-year-old novice runner will take on five hounds after breaking from the black box. He possesses decent track record in OR format.
The dashing dog started his career by winning a T3 race with the huge margin of 7 lengths on November 8, 2011. That fantastic feat made him felt in the eyes of the punters and the sport lovers alike.
The trainer too came to realize that his pupil had enough guts that, if polished, would make him a solid and strong runner. The talented son of Big Daddy Cool out of Borna Moon stepped ahead to get a third in another T3 race and a runner-up in his maiden
OR outing during June 2012.
On July 3, the maverick sprinter again won The Owlerton Bookmakers Sprint by the huge margin of 5 ½ lengths at Sheffield. That classic conquest in an OR race boosted up the victor’s morale to a great extent.
The young and momentous hound finished 4th in his last start on July 10. Thus, Borna Cannon is carrying a lot of confidence that augurs well for his tonight’s outing.
On his way towards the boundary strap, Borna Cannon will have to face a lot of resilience from
Turnabarson Blue who picked up a lot of momentum by winning a T3 race by the mammoth margin of 6 ¼ lengths at Sheffield on June 25.
The son of Ardkill Jamie out of Cornamaddy Girl moved forward to gain a third and a runner-up spot in two OR race during the first ten days of July. His last start was The Owlerton Bookmakers Sprint-Duplicated that infused enough spirit in him.
Thus, there will be witnessed a fierce battle between these two hounds. Success is not going to be an easy task for any one. Good luck to the both.
