Reigning Bundesliga champions, Borussia Dortmund, have reiterated their desire to seal the signature of Arsenal striker, Nicklas Bendtner, for the upcoming season. The player has long been linked with several other European outfits but the striker’s asking
price has forced most clubs to wipe off their interest in the 23-year-old.
Bendtner himself expressed desire to leave the Emirates Stadium during the summer after being snubbed by Arsene Wenger last season. The striker urged the Gunners officials to let him make a move elsewhere to allow him more first team opportunities.
The 23-year-old managed only 17 league appearances last season which was a source of frustration for the Danish international. Dortmund, on the other hand, have continued their rebuilding process by showing interest in the striker’s acquisition.
