Borussia Dortmund defender Felipe Santana admits he could leave the club this summer-Bundesliga news
Borussia Dortmund defender Felipe Santana has revealed that he could be on his way out in this summer’s transfer window. The Brazilian lost his place in the starting line-up and made only a handful of appearances for the German
champions. He now wants to look for a club that can offer him regular football all season.
Santana joined the German side from Brazilian club Figueirense in the summer of 2008. The central defender has fallen down in the pecking order of defenders last season due to some brilliant performances from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mats-Hummels-c24767 and Neven
Subotic. The duo developed a sensational partnership in the heart of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Defence-c38904 which played a major part in the club winning the Bundesliga title.
The player admitted that he could leave this summer as he is not getting first-team football and wants to work out options for his future. Santana does not want to spend another season warming the benches and revealed he could
be on his way.
“I don't want to make a fuss with BVB - the club is the boss. But I must also work out what is best for me,” the Brazilian stated.
However, Dortmund’s Director of Sport http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Santana-c32502 will stay to provide depth in the
defensive area as the Borussians prepare to defend the title in the next campaign.
“We are counting on Felipe, we rate him and we cannot envisage a situation where we would let this player go. We want to reward players' performances appropriately. That is especially true for positions where we don't have so much
depth as we would in the attacking midfield positions, for instance,” Zorc was quoted as saying in an interview.

interest in acquiring him.
