Kevin Grosskreutz and Robert Lewandowski have challenged the Bavarian giants to prove their worth on the pitch rather than making claims to the press.
Borussia Dortmund winger, Kevin Grosskreutz, suggests that Bayern Munich must do the talking on the pitch rather than the media. He was talking in the wake of the claims made by Bayern manager, Jupp Heynckes, who stated that his
side will still win the title despite Dortmund taking the lead.
Bayern have recently witnessed a slight dip in their form which has pushed them down to the second place on the table after finishing as leaders going into the winter break. On the other hand, Dortmund have found life a lot easier
since the restart and have displaced Bayern from top of the table.
Grosskreutz opined that Bayern are panicking at the moment by releasing statements in the press. He mentioned that the Bavarian giants should stop the talking and show some quality on the field.
While talking to news channel, Sky, the winger further added: "Bayern say they have more quality. Then they should show it!"
On the other hand, Dortmund striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robert-Lewandowski-c31255, played down reports linking him to Bayern Munich and claimed that he has no intention of leaving the club. The striker admitted that it was a struggle for him to settle down
in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 initially, but has found life enjoyable since then.
Lewandowski has been in supreme form this season for the Borussians, having scored 14 times from 19 appearances, compared to last season where he managed eight strikes from 33 games. The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Poland-c2983 international has insisted that he
owes a lot to Dortmund manager, Jurgen Klopp, and will stay at the club to honour his contract.
"I play for the champions. Why should I move to Bayern? I've never thought about throwing it all away and leaving. The coach has built me up. He pointed out where my strengths lie and how to use them," Lewandowski concluded.
Dortmund are currently leading the Bundesliga table with 43 points from 20 games, and will next be in action against Bayer Leverkusen at the Signal Iduna Park on Saturday, February 11.
