Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp has admitted that the club has been in poor form in the UEFA Champions League this year and wants to make up for the elimination with a strong performance in the Bundesliga. The boss stated
that the performance against Olympique Marseille truly summed up the side’s campaign thus far and wants the team to comeback strongly.

Klopp claimed that the match against the French side more or less summed the team’s European journey this season. The manager insisted that Dortmund deserved to get the two goal lead early in the match but lapses in concentration
later in the match turned the tables.
“This match was emblematic of our entire Champions League campaign. We absolutely deserved to go 2-0 up, but then we conceded a goal from a cross that we should have shut down and Remy managed to get the jump on our defenders,”

Borussia Dortmund will next play hosts to FC Kaiserslautern at the Signal Iduna Park on Sunday to make sure they remain neck to neck with leaders Bayern Munich. The German champions are currently in second place with 30 points.
