Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp targeting a win against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429- UCL news
Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp has stated that his side will definitely be aiming for a win against Arsenal in the next UEFA Champions League clash. He admitted that it will be a difficult task to get a result at the Emirates
Stadium but remained hopeful that the team will fight for a result to stay in the competition.
Die Borussen have been unable to carry on with their domestic form in Europe and are struggling in third place in Group F of the Champions League behind the likes of Arsenal and French side Olympique Marseille. They have secured
only four points so far from the four games played and a loss against the London giants this week would surely end their hopes of qualifying for the next round this season.
Klopp claimed that his side is well capable of defeating Arsenal and insisted that Dortmund’s recent win against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena will give them great motivation also. He wants the team to capitalize on the brilliant
result and play without fear against the London giants.
The tactician stated that this is surely the last chance for them as a win is needed desperately. If the Borussians win, they will fight for the second place in the last group stage match against Marseille at the Signal Iduna Park.
“Practically nothing tops beating good teams. We managed that (against Bayern) and we can do that again on Wednesday. It will be a different challenge, but today was an important sign that we can also do this at Arsenal. It was
a perfect day for us,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/1-FSV-Mainz-05-c38166 manager hailed his side for the sensational showing against the Bavarian giants last week and admitted that Bayern have not looked that terrible in the last two years.
“We have forced more misplaced passes out of Bayern than they have made in the past two years put together,” he concluded.
Borussia Dortmund play Arsenal in London on Wednesday, November 23 and will play their last fixture in the group stage next month.
