Borussia Dortmund midfielder Mario Gotze admits Bayern Munich could win the Bundesliga
Borussia Dortmund midfielder Mario Gotze has admitted that Bayern Munich are the favourites to win the Bundesliga this season. He claimed that the Bavarians are in spectacular form this term and are surely playing some brilliant
football. He insisted that Dortmund have also comeback well after a slow start and remained hopeful of qualification for the knock-out stage of the UEFA Champions League.
Die Borussen are currently second on the Bundesliga standings table with 23 points from the 12 games played. They have already won seven games this season and lost three in the process. The side is still five points adrift of leaders

Gotze claimed that the Munich giants are is some stunning form and manager Jupp Heynckes has made a huge impact since joining from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer. He insisted that his team has finally regained its form after an
unlikely start to the campaign and will try their best to defend the title.
“Bayern are a superior team. I also think that they are likely to be champions this season. We will of course try our best to retain our title,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The young German international is impressed with his team’s current form domestically but wants to improve the displays in Europe. He admitted that qualification for the next round would be difficult but the side has to try and
win the remaining matches to still have a chance.

“Right now we are doing quite well in the Bundesliga. In the Champions League we have now finally got our first win. We have two more games, then we will see where we stand,” he concluded.
Borussia Dortmund will face Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena next week in one of the most awaited matches of the season. A win for the visitors would take them to a difference of only two points from the leaders.
