Borussia Dortmund’s Hans-Joachim Watzke insists Bayern Munich are favourites to win Bundesliga
Borussia Dortmund Managing Director Hans-Joachim Watzke has insisted that Bayern Munich are favourites to win the Bundesliga title next season. He claimed that the Bavarian giants’ spending in the transfer market this summer has
been massive and they will be looking to make a strong comeback next season after a disappointing campaign last term.
Borussia Dortmund were the surprise of the last season as they clinched the league title for the seventh time in their history. The club finished the season with 75 points and was seven points ahead of second-placed Bayer Leverkusen
with 23 wins and five losses.

The Director added that other clubs in the Bundesliga do not have the financial resources to compete with the Munich giants in the transfer market but claimed that his club will put a strong fight in a bid to defend the title.
“The Munich has the most financial resources they have developed but also hard. In addition, they could strengthen and guarantee super lay still for. They are also, in the coming season, top favourites for the title,” he was quoted

currently no match to Bayern financially but hoped that Dortmund have another great season.
“Bayern have always upgraded staff enormously if they are not first become a champion. With them we cannot measure ourselves,” the former German international added.
