Borussia Dortmund’s Shinji Kagawa wants to extend contract with the champions – Bundesliga News 
The Super hit signing from Cerezo Osaka, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Shinji-Kagawa-c33364, has expressed desire to extend his contract with his current Bundesliga outfit, Borussia Dortmund. The midfielder already has won millions of hearts at Signal Iduna Park and wants to secure his long-term
future with the German champions.
The Japanese made a spectacular start to his debut season with the club but unfortunately was sidelined for up to four months with an injury. Kagawa then went back to Japan at the conclusion of the 2010/11 season without signing a contract extension. Dortmund
desperately want his services beyond 2013, but did not make the player sign a contract, causing other club’s to show their interest.

He also hailed the supporters for coming out in large numbers and providing support which eventually helped the club clinch the league title. The midfielder

with Dortmund, therefore, United are not even an option for his client.

Both parties are interested in a longer-term contract. Shinji is really looking forward to the new campaign and the great atmosphere
in the Signal-Iduna-Park. The contract talks will probably resume sometime during pre-season."
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Japan-c2928 international recently declared himself open to contract talks, and it is believed that the meeting would take place any time during the preseason. Borussia Dortmund would definitely secure the player’s signature, whose current contract with the
club is due to expire at the end of 2012/13 campaign.
Kagawa has 22 international caps under his belt to go along with five goals. He made 18 Bundesliga appearances in the season ended and managed eight goals before getting sidelined for the remainder of the season.
