Borussia Monchengladbach http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Michael-Bradley-c25275 could leave for Serie A this summer – Bundesliga news
Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder, Michael Bradley, could be on his way to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603.
The three clubs revealed their interest in the player following his return from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749, where he spent the second half of the last season on loan with Aston Villa. The Villa officials had an option to extend Bradley’s deal but decided against it at the
conclusion of the 2010/11 campaign.
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/United-States-c3034 international himself expressed desire to leave the German outfit during the summer in search of a new journey. He wanted to win silverware and therefore allowed his agent to hold talks with the interested clubs. Meanwhile, the player’s
agent, Paolo http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alberto-c4309 Faccini, added that the 23-year-old has already been linked with several European outfits but hinted at Bradley’s move to Italy.
Monchengladbach manager, Lucien Favre, told that the American is a competent midfielder and the Foals would never want him to leave the Borussia-Park. He added that the player has a year left on his contract and urged him to honour his deal before taking
any decision regarding his future. He also assured him of his first team chances at the club.
The Agent, on the other hand, enthused, "For now he is a Borussia player. Aston Villa did not use their option to buy him and so the player has moved back [to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904]. His contract expires in 2012 and soon there will be a meeting with the German directors.
I don't know about an interest from Genoa.
“I have spoken with a very important club who will be playing in Europe next season and I am waiting for a response. Obviously we would like an interesting project as the player is still young." Faccini concluded.
Bradley joined the Foals in 2008 and managed 76 league appearances before agreeing a loan move to Aston Villa in 2011. The midfielder made his U.S. debut in 2006 and has nine goals under his belt from 59 international caps until now.
Monchengladbach will lock heads with the German giants, Bayern Munich, in their opening game of the new campaign.
