Borussia Monchengladbach http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Tobias-Levels-c35177 invites interest from Bolton Wanderers – Bundesliga news
Borussia Monchengladbach defender, Tobias Levels, has been linked with the English Premier League side, Bolton Wanderers, for the upcoming season. The player himself expressed desire to leave the club at the conclusion of the 2010/11 campaign especially
after knowing about the plans of his manager, Lucien Favre.
The tactician had stated that Levels’ first team chances at the club aren’t confirmed yet for the upcoming season.
The player got to know about the intentions of his manager and wanted a move out of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 preferably in favour of an English club. He was ecstatic at being linked with the Trotters and urged his club officials to let him fly to England prior to the start
of the new term.
He enthused that his first team chances with the Foals already received a set back after a disappointing 2010/11 season. The defender revealed the desire to play first team football and reckoned that he stands a greater chance of achieving his ambitions
at the Reebok Stadium.
Favre, on the other hand, has confirmed about Bolton’s interest in the acquisition of the 24-year-old. He told that Levels couldn’t live up to the expectations of the club last season and as a result has fallen out of his plans. The manager, though, reserved
praise for the German and believes that the player could prosper in English conditions.
He had no issues with the possible transfer of the defender which was a clear indication of the fact that Levels won’t be getting enough chances at the Borussia-Park if he is forced to stay. The player’s current contract runs through 2014, meaning a decent
amount would be required for the purchase of the youngster.
In an interview to a local newspaper, Levels told, "It was not the first contact with the club (Bolton), they have known about me for some time. The Premier League fascinates me and to play there would be a great challenge. I have always said that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749
interests me."
Monchengladbach will travel away to the Allianz-Arena on Sunday, August 7 to take on Bayern Munich in their opening game of the new campaign.
