Borussia Monchengladbach appoint Hans Meyer as member of the club Bureau-Bundesliga news
Borussia Monchengladbach have appointed former manager Hans Meyer as the member of the club Bureau after a suggestion from the Board. The Bureau now has four members which include the President Rolf Konigs, Vice Presidents Siegfried Sollner and Rainer Bonhof
while Meyer is the latest addition to the list.
Meyer has served as the manager of Borussia Monchengladbach on two occasions; his first stint was from 1999 to 2003, while the second lasted for a brief while between 2008 and 2009.
Club President Rolf Konigs announced the decision and claimed that it will surely help the club in a big way. He insisted that Hans Meyer has loads of experience which would be influential in the club’s progress in the coming years.
“With this decision, we reinforce the sporting component in the club's leadership even further. Hans Meyer knows Borussia and the people involved from his time as coach with us and has a wealth of experience in football,” he was quoted as saying.
Hans Meyer has remained an honorary member of the club’s board from the year 2003 and was unanimously elected into Presidency by the Board. He stated that he has remained away from club management for some time and now wants to help Die Fohlen regain their
status as a successful club in the coming years.

Borussia Monchengladbach avoided going down into the 2.Bundesliga after they defeated http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VfL-Bochum-c40880 with a 2-1 aggregate in the relegation play-off. The club ended the season in 16th place with 36 points and with 10 wins in 34 games.
