The Bundesliga outfit is keen to bring a quality striker before the 2012/13 season kicks-off after selling http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Twente-c39233 ace as a perfect addition to the squad

Reports in the German and Dutch media confirm that Borussia Monchengladbach have left http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Luuk-de-Jong-c22956.
The 21-year-old, who arrived at De Grolsch Veste in the summer of 2009 after making 14 appearances for De Graafschap, has long been linked with a move away from the Eredivisie outfit this summer.
The Dutch hit-man has been performing brightly for the past couple of seasons, attracting interest from several European clubs including the likes of the Magpies and the Reds.
However, the Bundesliga outfit are now the favourites to land his signature before the new season commences.
Die Fohlen finished fourth on the German Bundesliga table in the 2012/13 campaign, and much of the credit goes to their star performer of the season, Marco Reus.
The 23-year-old striker, who arrived at Borussia-Park in the summer of 2009 after representing Rot Weiss Ahlen in 27 matches, netted an impressive 18 goals while setting up eight more in 32 league appearances.
His impressive performances in the 2011/12 campaign garnered him interest from a host of European clubs, but the German international opted to join Borussia Dortmund.
The German champions reportedly acquired Reus’ services in a deal believed to be in the region of 14 million Euros.
Borussia Monchengladbach, who will be participating in UEFA Champions League next term, are in the market to find an ideal replacement for the German international, and the club management reportedly see De Jong as the perfect
man to lead their attacking third next season.
The Dutch international, who has thus far represented the Tukkers in 76 Eredivisie matches and netted 39 goals, has an ongoing contract at De Grolsch Veste that runs until the summer of 2014.
Reports confirm that the Tukkers will not let go of the talented striker for anything less than 15 million Euros this summer, and it seems unlikely that the Bundesliga outfit will face any problems matching Twente’s asking price.
