Lucien Favre’s side have secured the signing of the centre-back from Atletico Madrid for an undisclosed fee.
Borussia Monchengladbach have acquired Spanish international, Alvaro Dominguez, from Spanish side Atletico Madrid. The player has been signed as a replacement to Dante, who joined Bayern Munich in this summer’s transfer window.

Eberl hailed the Spanish international and stressed that the defender’s experience in Europe with Atletico Madrid played a major role in the deal. He insisted that Monchengladbach will play in the UEFA Champions League next season
so the team needs players that have the European experience.
