The Foals will be looking to go joint top with Borussia Dortmund as they host the Red-Shorts over the weekend.
Borussia Monchengladbach are currently second on the Bundesliga standings table and a win over Hamburg on Friday, February 24, will put them level on points with reigning German champions, Borussia Dortmund. Borussia-Park will
host the encounter with the home team clear favourites to come out on top considering their sensational form since the start of this season.
Borussia Monchengladbach
Lucien Favre’s men have been in staggering form since the start of the season and anything less than a win against Hamburg would be a disappointment for the hosts. Three points over the Red Shorts will get them level on points
with the Borussians who are not in action until Sunday, February 26.
The Foals have been in phenomenal form throughout the season and are one of the two sides who have not lost a single league game since coming back from the winter break. They have also advanced into the semi-finals of the German
Cup where they will take on Bayern Munich.
The encouraging factor for the Foals this season has been their impressive form at home. The side is still unbeaten at home in the Bundesliga and have won eight of the 11 games played thus far. The Borussia-Park outfit has won
four of their last five games which also includes a DFB Pokal quarter-final triumph over Hertha http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Berlin-c7536.

Thorsten Fink’s men have had a mixed campaign until now but are certainly on their way up. The Imtech Arena outfit will be encouraged by the fact that they have won their last two away games to FC Koln and Hertha Berlin. However,
the last time when these two teams met at the Imtech Arena in September last year, Gladbach came out on top with a 1-0 margin.
Rothosen emerged victorious against the Foals at the same venue in 2010 when they defeated them 2-1. In their last five games, Hamburg have won two and lost two whereas one of their games against Bayern Munich ended in a draw.
