Borussia Monchengladbach’s Marco Reus admits Bayern Munich interest is flattering
Borussia Monchengladbach striker Marco Reus has admitted that the interest from Bayern Munich is flattering for him. He claimed that Bayern Munich is the biggest club in German football and have been consistent in securing silverware over the past many years. The player was delighted with his performances in the current season and remained hopeful of continuing with the good from until the end of the season.
Marco Rues has had a sensational start to the season and has already scored eight times in the ten appearances he has made for the club in all competitions, also accumulating one assist. The player will surely cross the 12 goals he scored last season in 37 matches and is emerging as one of the best talents in the country.
Reus claimed that he is surprised with the interest from a club with the stature of Bayern Munich. He stated that it is a huge privilege for him to be linked with one of the best clubs in Germany. The attacker added that Die Bayern have been one of the most consistent clubs in Europe and have been amongst silverware in European and Domestic competitions in the past many years.

The German international also hinted of a possible move to the Bavarian club in the next summer’s transfer window as he intends to play in the Champions League. His current contract with Borussia Monchengladbach will end in the summer of the year 2015 but he has a buyout clause at a mere 17.5 million Euros which would not be a problem for Bayern.
“I am not that young any more for a footballer. I am turning 23 years old next summer and have then played in the Bundesliga for three seasons. In my opinion, I reach the age where I'm no longer just a talent,” he concluded.
