Bos'n's or chief mates, what should I do with extra gray epoxy primer?

If I have 10 minutes left before clean up and knock off time after all my priming is finished at the end of the day what should I do with any left over primer? Should I cover an area that is going to be finish coated the next day even though it doesn't need any primer (just for extra protection), go over other spots I've just primed, or throw it away and hide from you for a few minutes?

When we're alongside the dock I paint the undercarrage of my truck with it.   Mechanics think it looks funny, but there is no rust on my 1992 vehicle.
