  1. your cage is size is fine/minimum for a full grown adult .  you can make it larger if you want and I'm sure it would give the boscs a better quality of life but, like i said  your cage size  is fine/minimum . but remember its not so much the cage size that's important ( which it is) its the overall husbandry. monitors require very basic but very important needs like, basking temps( 130F+ degrees NEVER less) ambient temps ( ranging from 85F-90F degrees on the warm side to 70F-75F degrees on the cool side) , substrate mix ( here is some info on this subject http://www.proexotics.com/FAQ2.html#19) , substrate depth ( at least a 2 foot) plus moderate humidity all "tweeked" to the individual captive . you could e-mail me if you wana get more in depth.

  2. bruce should be fine until he out grows it, he is fine til' he gets bigger . I have 1 Nile monitor and 1 Savanna Monitor and their both babies , but will get much bigger later.

    P.S.

The Nile monitor is aggressive and i called him Pissy , because he hisses at me, and the Savanna monitors name is " Grippy " because he has a killer grip with his sharp claws.

  3. that size should be fine currently and at this point you only need to upgrade if you'd like.
