Bosch Extractor Fan model DKE945DGB

Hi The extractor fan seems to work but its lost a lot of power. This type of model has three speeds by use of a sliding switch to increase the fan speed. The switch does not work.Just wondering if this is easily fixable by myself although not sure how to go about it?Please helpThanksCraig
