Bose-Companion 5 Multimedia Speaker System?

If I bought this product in the U.S.A. (as it is cheaper), could I use it on my computer in the U.K.? We are going in May, and I want to make the most of saving money. Is all I need to do is change the power lead?

It comes in an international version that would work in the UK. If you got the US version it would be more than a power lead issue ... you could maybe use a power adapter -- able to supply 120V / 60 Hz at suitable power -- though.

That said, why buy Bose. generally speaking they are overpriced mediocre products that can easily be beaten for less money.

Have a look at Klipsch, Logitech or Creative or ... better value for the money.

If possible find something with an international power supply built in.

You also should consider whether the warranty is void in the UK ... if this matters to you.
