  1. No HD-DVD and upsaling only if you have the VS-2 which should be included with the new Lifestyles.  If you have a Plasma or LCD TV is has a scaler already. Everything displayed on a non-CRT TV needs to in the native resolution screen, so if it is 1200 by 768 native. Then everything is scaled to that resolution 1080p is 1200 by 768, 720p is 1200 by 768, 480p is 1200 by 768. A scaler can make it sightly better or worse and sometimes much worse but can not add information just reprocess it. A good TV will have a better scaler than Bose put in the VS-2.  The VS-2 was mostly used to fix a audio/video sync problem common with Bose products. Listen to something else before you describe it as amazing? I have heard stuff that makes Yoko Ono sound good and that's amazing. I have also heard that food in McDonalds wrapper taste better to kids, too. I wonder if that is true with Bose. Ad Dollar to Revenue Dollar Bose Advertises more three times more than McDonalds and straight up more than Nike.

  2. Only normal DVD's.

My comments - I would not have bought it.

If you are enjoying it, that's nice.
