Bosh Excited with Free Agency Period
With all the drama that unfolded on draft night, Chris Bosh says the free agency is more nerve-racking than on the night he was drafted. While some players are nervous that teams will not sign them, Bosh and the rest of the free agent superstars are just waiting on what team will offer the most enticing deal.

Though he’s been quiet about which team he will most likely pick, Bosh admitted that he is waiting for LeBron James. Though recently he said that he wanted to be the “main man” of his team, he humbled himself saying that all of the teams will definitely talk to Lebron James first and him probably second.

Experts predict that Bosh would end up as the “sidekick” of either James or Dwayne Wade. All three of them are part of the highly sought after 2003 draft class, which also includes Denver Nuggets superstar Carmelo Anthony.

Among them all, Wade is the only player that has tasted what if feels like to be an NBA Champion. He bagged his first championship ring in 2006 along with Shaquille O'Neal. Lebron James has the most impressive individual accolades having been awarded the Most Valuable Player these past two years. On the other hand, Bosh has only carried the Toronto Raptors to the Playoffs twice in his entire seven-year career.

It was rumored that the superstar free agents have talked about possibilities but have been secretive about it. Speculations are still speculations. We might hear rumours of a tandem of Wade and Bosh or James and Bosh, but Wade and James could also be together. It still remains to be seen whether they will play in Chicago, Miami or somewhere else.

Bosh also said earlier this month that he has narrowed his choices to five teams that include the New York Knicks. The Knicks have the cap space that could allow Bosh, James and even Wade to play together in their team. With a stack of good players in one team, it would be easy to win games and end up as champions.

That has been the trend in the past few years. If a team wants to win, they will let star players alongside each other, like the Celtics did when they acquired Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen to play along Paul Pierce. This combination, which was tagged as the “Big Three”, gave the Celtics their 17th title in 2007.

But compared to that team, James, Bosh, and Wade can still play the game for five to ten years more. If a team is able to sign the three of them, it will be a dynasty in the making. These three have played together in a lot of international games for the USA National Basketball Team, so the chemistry and the bonding that they have will be one of the key factors for their success.

"It's just become part of my life, a part of my everyday life," Bosh said. "It's like you brush your teeth every day. That's how it is for me. I know as soon as I walk out the door, somebody is going to ask me something about where I'm going next year."

The clock is still ticking before the start of the free agency period on July 1 and this offseason will be a history in the making. It will be the make or break of Chris Bosh and the rest of the superstar free agents' career.

And for Chris Bosh, the chances of winning a championshiop will be the deciding factor. And with how that boat is sailing right now, we'll probably see him wearing a new uniform next season and maybe even playing alongside Lebron James or Dwyane Wade.
