its called louvers...theyre tight!

you mean the slats for the rear window..

They are called louvers.  They keep the sun out, but let you see out of the rear view mirror.

TODAYS STANDARD THEY ARE CALLED LOUVERS,BUT THEY WERE ACTUALLY CALLED SPORT SLATS AND THEY WERE AN OPTION STARTING IN 1969. THEY WERE NOT ONLY FOR THE BOSS 302 BUT FOR ANY MUSTANG SPORTSFOOF (FASTBACK).
