  1. Sue him. It is against the law.

If there's someone "on top of him" report him then

    Really, this needs to stop

  2. Keep  acurate  notes  on what  when  where why  for  reorting,  any  persons  that  witness this  and  dates  of  overtime  abuse.  Keep notes hidden as you cant trust everyone.  REPORT  him  to  his  higher  ups  and  inform them  labor  board is to be  notified  also.  With  both,, Use  a  different  phone  from your  home/ cell if  wish to remain secret.  Practice  what you  want  to  report  as  not  to  sound  like  a  disgruntel revenful employee but  a  concerned  person.

Taping  may not  be used  way privacy  laws  are. Telephone  answer  machines  are ok.  This  is  so  wrong(his actions ) on so many levels,  he  has  to get  caught up with.

  3. Wow it sounds like someone needs to wear a hidden camera and wire to work for a week or 2. California has the Department of fair employment. I would google employer harassment and the state you are in. Look for Gov in the website line. That means you will be going to a goverment site and not some advertisement for a lawyer. Those are a dime a dozen. He will eventually cross the line and when the time is right and you have everything in place (cameras, wires) someone will have to press charges.

I kind of would like to know is this someone running in you town govenor, sherriff ect. or is this someone bigger Senator, president!LOL

  4. If someone, like a lawyer, found out he was taped, they would start counting their millions in percentage fees.  I would strongly suggest that you talk with one.

  5. holy c**p dude! i would just walk of and try to find a new job

  6. Forget about people like that, this man sounds highly abusive. what kind of job do you do? If i were you, i would join a job that is unionized, they treat workers with the utomost respect.

  7. Okay...look, you guys HAVE to stand up for your rights. If it is possible you need to go to someone higher up than him or equal in status. Tell them what you are saying here and get others to come with you to verify what you are saying, have specific examples of this conduct, witness, and any possible proof. You should make some attempt to confront him though  because it will give you more credibility with the higher ups when they know you have made every possible attempt to remedy the situation on your own. The things you are describing here ARE ABUSE and it is possible there  are legal things you can do as well so you should consider talking to a lawyer. If nothing can be done than you guys will have to seriously consider looking for work elsewhere, no one should have to live with mental and verbal abuse in the workplace and you have to know when to get out of a bad situation. It will not be easy but it is just something you will have to do if things don't change. If all his employees leave maybe he will get the message.

DO NOT tape him without his knowledge, this kind of evidence is not usable in court and I believe it is illegal also.

I think the best bet is probably getting some legal advice, don't go to someone associated with your company or employer either because they don't work for you, they work for your boss.

    Best of Luck

  8. gosh, i've heard of other jobs.  you never heard of other jobs?  you stand up, walk out door; whole other world out there.
