Boston Acoustics: Difference?

The Specs on the the Boston Acoustics Pro60 ( http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Product/Item/Main.aspx?g=410&i=065PRO60SE&tp=106 ) seem to be almost exactly the same but the SE is more expensive than the other one.

Does anyone know if theres a difference in sound between these two speakers?

  1. Try these, they are only $185 for right now until they are in full production mode, right now they are on sale due them being in pre production right now. They are much better than the over priced Bostons that your looking at from Crutchfield, anything from Crutchfield is going to be over priced, as they are the most expensive place on earth to buy from. I only use them as a reference point, nothing more.

  2. It looks like the only difference according to the specs is the design and the price. One of them seems to be on sale. they run on the same amount of power and have the same frequency range and sensitivity. the mounting depth and cutout diameter are slightly different. I don't think there would be a huge difference between the sound quality, and boston acoustics are high quality speakers. I would just go with the one that appears to be on sale.

really it looks like the main difference is the name. pro60 and pro60 se. maybe the SE stands for like special edition or something. did u try checking the boston acoustics website? a "special edition" speaker if thats the case would merit a higher price
