  1. They have a great farm system but as we've seen before this doesn't transfer into a good team in the big league. They have great young talent that's on the team now too and some veteran present. I think they'll continue to get better, don't see a cup coming anytime soon but who knows.

    Go Bs!

  2. I agree!! I've been a Bruins fan my whole life, this young crop of up and comers are the best I think I've ever seen them look. (at least that I can remember)

Give them some ice time, and I think within the next 4-5 years it's possible for them to be Cup contenders.

They'll get there, I have faith!!

  3. The Sharks look even better!

  4. I agree, but by a few, I mean more than two or three. I'm a huge B's fan, and I'm looking forward to watching players like Lucic, Kessel, Krejci, and Sobotka develop, especially Lucic, because I believe he is a great Bruin, with his grit. It will be interesting to see young talent Blake Wheeler respond to the NHL environment; I see a wealth of potential in him. I believe the Ryder signing was good, since he has played under Julien before and seems to thrive then.

In addition, I thought drafting Joe Colborne was a wonderful choice. I think once he has a year or two of college hockey and adds some bulk, he will be a dynamic force.

So yes, I think they are a team of the future.

  5. The Bruins are a team of the future in the sense that they aren't a team of the present.  They have a good young nucleus of players, but they won't be setting the league on fire just yet.  If the Bruins are able to keep all their good young talent they could become a great team.  With Kessel, Bergeron, Krejci, Lucic, Sobotka, Soderberg, Hamill, Wheeler, Lashoff, Rask, all being able to excel in the NHL they could potentially be a great team, but they are still a few years away from making the jump.
