Boston Bruins & Tampa Bay Lightning teams ahead of the Conference Finals - Forwards

Now that the Eastern Conference Finals between Tampa Bay Lightning and Boston Bruins kick off tomorrow, we will be looking at the two teams and analysing each team and its chances of winning the Conference Finals.
Boston Bruins has done extremely well when it comes to offence during the quarterfinals and the semifinals.
Not only has there been great scoring depth on display by Boston Bruins but it has seen contributions from all the players.
In round one, against Pittsburgh Penguins, Bruins was seen to have goals scored by forwards and defenders as well. This is certainly a good sign but doesn’t mean that the forwards are relieved of their duties.
Bruins has seen numerous goals scored by Nathan Horton, Rich Peverley and Chris Kelly. They have consistently been putting up decent performances, not to mention David Krejci, who scored the winning goals in three of the four games during the series against
Philadelphia Flyers.
The forwards have the added benefit of being exceptionally talented and superb defenders. If they miss a chance, then they quickly skate back to defend which shows the level of hard work that they put in the game.
Bruins is having no problems when it comes to its offence even though its star player, Patrice Bergeron, is out due to injury. He is also the leading point scorer for Boston Bruins with 12 but his replacement, Tyler Seguin, is expected to do as well as him.
Tampa Bay Lightning has three big players when it comes to the department of offence. The trio includes Steven Stamkos, Martin St. Louis and Vincent Lecavalier, which has done pretty well for the team.
Lecavalier showed his dominance particularly in the second round that has played a very important role in placing Lighting where it is at the moment.
Lightning has seen another young player rising to the occasion and scoring regular goals.
Sean Bergenheim is that player and leads the team with 7 goals in the playoffs so far.
Lightning will also be glad to learn the fact that Steve Downie and Teddy Purcell have both done a superb job so far. They combined in the regular season to score a total of 83 points and have scored a point in each of the games during the playoffs so far.
The Lightning bench gets deeper and the quality of the forwards doesn’t fall as it has the likes of Ryan Malone, Dominic Moore and Nate Thompson in the team who played a very important role in the 4-0 series win against Washington Capitals.
Simon Gagne was on the injured list but there is a high chance that he will be playing in the series to strengthen Boston Bruins even further.
