Boston Bruins dominate against the Dallas Stars to win the match 6-3 in the end
The Boston Bruins playing host to the Dallas Stars was one of the top table clashes of Thursday was expected to be very exciting and it turned out to be very exciting with the Boston Bruins fans backing them at the TD Garden. The match was totally dominated
by the Boston Bruins and the first period laid the foundations of this as they managed to score 4 goals in the first period.
At the end of the match it was Boston Bruins who emerged as 6-3 winners of the match with Patrice Bergeron being the star player of the match with his two goals and an assist.
Boston Bruins absolutely dominated the majority of the first period during which they displayed some excellent passing, shooting and defensive techniques. Boston Bruins started off the match scoring in the very first minute through Milan Lucic from a brilliant
shot to get into the lead.
Boston was definitely the stronger team when it came to the offence and it didn’t take the Bruins to score once again to double the lead. The goal was scored by Patrice Bergeron from a decent strike in the 2nd minute. Though the Dallas Stars managed
to pile up a few shots after this but again it was the Bruins who scored through Patrice Bergeron once again in the 10th minute.
Boston Bruins were in absolutely brilliant form and scored in the 17th minute through Shawn Thornton from a brilliant powerful strike to complete a dominating period’s performance. The period ended with the Boston Bruins leading 4-0 as the teams
went into the break with the Dallas Stars making 9 goal attempts in the period while the Boston Bruins made 15 goal attempts.
The second period was almost an exact copy of the first period with one of the differences being the fact that it was the Dallas Stars who emerged as the dominating force of the period. Though Boston Bruins made a few goal attempts during the course of the
period but they couldn’t score.
On the other hand, Dallas Stars couldn’t manage to score more than a goal in the period which greatly hurt their chances of a win. The only they managed to score was in the 11th minute scored by Karlis Skrastins from a decent strike. The period
saw the Dallas Stars making regularly goal attempts but unfortunately they couldn’t score any goals and the period ended with the Bruins still leading 4-1 going into the break.
The final period started off with the Dallas Stars absolutely exploding at the beginning which resulted in them scoring two goals in quick succession to cut the lead to just once goal with around 16 minutes of play left. The first goal was scored by Brendan
Morrow while the second was scored by Brad Richards from a powerful strike in the 4th minute.
It looked as if the Dallas Stars found their way back into the back but the Boston Bruins scored two goals in the 6th and 18th minute to win the match. The first goal was scored by Tyler Seguin and the second was scored by Brad Marchand
respectively as Boston Bruins won the match 6-3 in the end. During the final period, Boston Bruins made 11 goal attempts while the Dallas Stars made 8 goal attempts.
