Where can I find good food at a non-tourist restaurant in Boston? (Please note that my wife and I cannot eat seafood)

  1. Boston has a lot of great restraunts, try using sites like www.citywaboo.com to search for the type of food you would perfer. The site has user recommendations, reviews, ratings, and pictures of the buisness.  This way you don't walk blindly into a restraunt in hopes that you do not get food poisoning!  Also any place that has "grinders"  they are usually AWESOME!

    it's not the place for a long, romantic dinner, but for a plate of food with some booze on the side, it can't be beat.

  3. Try the phantomgourmet.com they are pretty good, they suggest restaurants by food style and I've done well by a few I've tried here in New England

    There is a great little restaurant on 38 bowdoin street  called Grotto.....

    It's small romantic and the food is great...

    A hiding gem!!!
