Boston Red Sox could bring Tim Wallach as manager – MLB Update
According to some sources, there are speculations around in Boston’s local media that their senior baseball team is seriously thinking to bring Los Angeles Dodgers’ third base coach as new team manager.
Red Sox recently fired Bobby Valentine after his poor performance in this Major League Baseball season while their management is looking for a new potential manager.
Earlier news came as Tim Wallach has been also granted permission by the Dodgers’ management after Red Sox showed their interest to have him as new manager.
"It's the Red Sox, It's one of the top organizations in all of baseball. We all know how last year went. It's not a picture of who they are. They were a top organization for a long, long time. It's certainly something I'm not afraid to be a part of," Wallach
said on his potential scheduled interview with the Red Sox which will determine his new job in the Boston side.
When reporters asked him about the schedule of the interview, Wallach did not give them any answer.
Wallach is around in the Major League for quite some time now. He has been in the Dodgers’ franchise for last two seasons as third base coach.
As a professional player, who played in the Montreal Expos, Los Angeles Dodgers and California Angels, knows his responsibility as a professional manager in the league.
After spending some quality years in the league as third base coach, Wallach thinks that he is ready to become manager.
"On third, I'm always thinking about where we are in the game, who's coming up, It's not the same as managing, but it is as close is it gets," Wallach said.
"He's a good man, He's got the experience handling a team, and he's a very good baseball man," former Astros manager Brad Mills said of Wallach.
In the meanwhile, it is very important for the Red Sox to understand the very need of a good manager in the side. They had a very bad run in 2012 season, but if they want to show consistent results in the coming seasons, they must bring someone with extraordinary
managerial capabilities.
