Boston and Filming ?

So a lot of movies have been filmed in Boston recently and i was wondering if anybody knows if they are going to do a lot more and is it going to be a really good place to live for acting at all ?

LOts of films there but  let's  face it. An aspiring actor never has much money and it's pretty darned expensive.

Ummm I have to disagree with the last answer.  An aspiring actor has never made much money?  FYI- Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Marky Mark and NKOTB have all originated from Boston.. as well as numerous other actors.  If there not succesful, then I guess I don't know what is.

In answer to your question- yes, Boston is an up and coming filming city, they are building a new studio... the first answer pretty much says it all.

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts just approved a bunch of tax breaks for the film industry to do business here. There is a major movie studio being built in Plymouth, MA now, with lots more films being filmed in Boston and other communities here in Massachusetts.

They just finished filming a Bruce Willis movie in my hometown of Worcester

You will also see more TV shows being made here as well
