Botanist I need help on understanding two questions?

1. What is the key structural component of plant cell walls? (im not sure if this is cellulose)?

2. Chemicals that control plant and animal growth are called

(cells)?

1. Cellulose or hemicellulose

2. Hormones (auxins) or growth factors

Answer 2

1 should be cellulose. Cell walls have lots of other molecules in them, but cellulose is the major one.

2. Chemicals that control growth might be hormones or growth factors.
