What happens to the two sperm which enter the pollen tube!

Flowering plants undergo double fertilisation, one sperm nuclei fertilises the ova and becomes a plant embryo and the other fuses with the haploid polar nuclei and forms the endosperm. Once the containing ovule forms a seed, the embryo is the part that develops into a new plant and the endosperm supplies the nutrients for initial root and shoot development.
