Question:

Both of my shoulders?

I am able to pop my right shoulder in and out of my socket.

And my left shoulder, every time I move my arm, it cracks.

I'm a D1 college swimmer and I'm almost certain that this has to do with swimming, but I am just wondering how serious is this? I want to hold off seeing a doctor as long as possible doctor because I'm afraid I'm going to have to stop swimming.. how serious is this? And when will I absolutely positively need to see a doctor?

  1. I suggest you talk to your coach or the swimmers you train with. They know more about your condition, how you train, and other factors that may contribute to your shoulders. good luck!

  2. i dont think theres anything wrong with your rights shoulder...theres a kid on my highschool team who can do that with both shoulders, and hes been able to do it for years, and its never bothered him....it depends on how much pain your in whether or not you should go see a doctor...its the pain isnt too bad and it doesnt get worse, i dont think you have much to worry about but if it starts hurting more every day, then you should definitely get it checked out before you hurt it more

  3. go to a docter now to avoid any further damage if there is someething the matter, just think if you catch it now you'll have to be out o the pool less, but if you wait and seriously injure yourself you'll most likely be out for the rest of the season

    better safe than sorry
