how could i know if he has had too much skin removed? if i knew now what i do-i would not have had him circumsized, esp a re-circumcision. he is 10yrs, but i also don't want to wait too long if something needs to be done-soon he will be in middle school where he will have to shower. and i know that is very important to a male-just like breast are to women. he used to be bigger-than had adhesions and wouldnt heal-so had re-circumcision-which dr recommended. now tiny and looks like has no shaft just head sutured to body wall skin

  1. Botched circumcisions are common, they just don't show up in statistics because they only record complications evident at the time. I am sure your son's adhesions were not recorded as a complication. It's very sad you were persuaded to have even more skin removed. Don't allow any more surgery. Stretching is likely to be the only option that won't make things worse and he's too young for that just now.

Others have recommended you contact Doctors Opposing Circumcision. I would also suggest you contact NOCIRC or one of its branches. http://www.nocirc.org/centers/

  2. standard circumcision remove half the penile skin having it done again likely removed much of what's left, when he has erections and starts to grow it is going to be VERY painful. skin needs to stretch and grow, but if it's already pulling on pubic and body skin then the skin cannot naturally expand enough where it needs to, he will likely end up with penoscrotal webbing at the least where the p***s borrows scrotal skin due to insufficient p***s shaft skin (i had this with a loose cut) with a more severe cut it would be awful.

you aren't likely going to like my recommendation since your desire for a cut p***s is so strong you were willing to force it on your son, but it will be the best for him, there is a technique where one can encourage skin to grow on the shaft, the technique is called f******n restoration, he does not have to restore a f******n but he can use the techniques to increase the amount of shaft skin he has, if you left him with any

with a circumcised p***s the sensation comes from the shaft not the head as that is desensitized, if you cut it all away he will likely have erectile difficulties as well, make sure you discuss it with him

all this for an unnecessary genital cutting, it's so sad parents do this

  3. I understand your concern, and the only thing that I can suggest is to contact Doctors Opposing Circumcision, or DOC to find a doctor who won't further complicate the damage already inflicted on your unfortunate son.

The quacks have done enough damage.    You must be extemely careful not to destroy whatever is left of his sexuality.

  4. the only way to know is to take him to a urologist and have him check it out.

We parents need to band together and make circumcision illega (unless for medical purpose)l!!

  5. Nothing can be done really they cannot add what has been taken away so he may just have to live with the (your) mistake you may be able to contact your insurance and see if they could recommed someone that could repair it it may be a plastic surgen
