  1. Cartons of ready made formula + an empty bottle?

  2. it's nice to have those already made bottles, they are only 2 oz but they come in handy when you are out and about.

  3. Back when I was formula feeding I would put hot water in the bottles and bring a baggy of formula with the scoop.

By the time they needed to eat the water was warm, not hot, and I'd mix them up where I was.

  4. I use Enfamil with Lipil (ready-to-use) and they have small 8 ounce cans (they come in a 4-pack). When I'm out & about, I just crack one open and pour it in a bottle.

  5. I used to take the bottles, just with water, and then take the formula in either the tin, or a formula little container which you can put a many number of scoops as you wanted in 3 different compartments. I then would get someone to heat up the water, once that was at perfect temp, I would then add the formula :)

  6. You take bottles of water and the can and leave.  I'm not quite sure where the difficult lies.

  7. I take an AVENT dispenser...available online or in good chemists...it is sectioned off and you pre measure the powder before you go out...I have 2 theyre the best.

  8. I fill however many bottles I want to bring with water, measure the formula out into those divider containers and go.  When she's hungry I just pour some formula into a bottle, shake it up and she's good to go.

  9. I use a divided container made to carry formula...I also carry bottles of water.

  10. If I'm taking breastmilk, I make the bottle ahead of time and put it a cooler pack in the diaper bag with a large plastic cup.  I go through a drive through or stop at a restaurant and ask for hot water.  Put the hot water in the cup and the bottle in the cup, a few minutes and it's good to go.  If you're somewhere with a microwave, I microwave the water to get it hotter faster.

If I'm using powdered formula, just put the powder in the bottle but no water.  Carry a  water bottle in the diaper bag.  When you need it, just add room temperature or slightly warm water, shake, and you're good to go.

Don't bother with in car bottle warmers that plug into your cigarette lighter.  I've heard that they take a long time to heat and/or don't get the bottle very warm at all.

    Hope this helps!

  11. make them up first then take themout & ask whoever wherever to heat it up

  12. You can buy containers that are sectioned so you can store the powdered formula milk.

you can also buy a thermal bag that will keep boiled water hot for at least 4 hours, so when your baby is due a feed you can just make up the bottle as you need it.

failing that i used to ocasionally buy ready made formula milk like SMA in a carton. you just pour it into the babys bottle then ask in a cafe to heat it up 4 you.

  13. I have a lil cooler tote bag that fits in my diaper bag perfectly. I make 1-2 bottles, stick the ice pack in the tote, and put the bottles in there. I also make sure I have extra liners(playtex drop in) a bottle or 2 of water, and a Munckin Container for formula filled with the right amount of scoopes for those times when baby is extra hungry or Im out longer then I thought Id would be.

I would either place a bottle out for awhile to get a bit warmer, or go to 7-11 and use the microwave to warm up the bottle. But my LO takes it cold sometimes. Pretty simple.

-------HAPPY 06...That was uncalled for, that has nothing to do with the question asked here, I find you rude, and iggnorant...if you can't answer the question, butt out! You have no right to make such comments on how anyone feeds their child, the child is being fed by breast or bottle and that is all that matters, So keep your rudeness to yourself. You can say all you want about how breastfed babies are smarter healthier and so on, its not true. It all matters how well you as a parent interact with your child and teach them. My daughter has not once had a cold,  or anything serious, she is bright, a head of all milestones and more. She isnt over weight, in fact she could gain a few more pounds. The DR is pleased with her growth, and she is Formula fed, and eats 3-4 meals of HOMEMADE solids a day.

    So again you are iggnorant!

  14. You make them at home. We make our daughter's bottles every night after she goes to bed. We make enough for the following day. When we have to go out to eat or something we take a bottle with us and put it along with an ice pack into a small bottle bag so it stays cold til we need it. Most places will gladly give you a cup of hot water if you need it heated.

Or you can put the powdered formula in a little container (measure it out) and bring an empty bottle then when it's time use warm tap water and pour the powder in and shake.

  15. you can get containers to carry the right amount of powder and then you just bring a bottle with the right amount of (cooled, boiled) water, then just mix them when you need it.

I used to pre-prepare my daughters, but they recommend against that these days. A little overcautious I think, but what do i know! I haven't researched it.

  16. I would be humiliated to bottle feed a baby in public if I had functioning b*****s.  I know there are exceptions to everything, say the baby was adopted or the mother's nipples bled and then scabbed over while breast feeding,or the mom has breast cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy,  but if you just bottle feed because you don't feel like nursing, you are robbing your innocent child of a much brighter future than what formula can provide. How selfish, lazy and ignorant some people are. Like Jennifer Lopez. What an otiose female.

  17. you have to make it at home and take it with you

  18. I take the water and the powder in a milk dispenser, just measure powder before going out then mix it when you need it.avent make these dispensers, also if in uk tesco do their own. tommee tippee also do some that fit into wide neck bottles.
