  1. i stopped steralizing at around six months, i know some people go longer but i feel this is a bit of a personal choice. I have books that say 6 and books that say 12. I guess it depends on ur own worries about cleanliness. 12 months u can give cows milk, i did about a week or so before her birthday and she loves it. if it makes her a bit sick or diahorrea for a bit, this is normal. I would just mix it with formula for a while and stick it out for a week or so before mentioning it to my health visitor or gp.

  2. We stopped sterilising at about 11 months & tried cows milk at this age also but she was sick a lot with it, we put her back on formula until about 13 months & tried cows milk again, this time she was fine with it & at 20 months its her favourite thing apart from mummy obviously lol

  3. stopped sterilisin at 6 months

gave cows milk at 12 months

  4. I stopped sterilising bottles when my little boy was a year old, becase by that time with them walking and crawling they are picking up germs on their hands and mouths anyway. I think a few germs can be healthy, as long as its nothing really dirty, to help build a healthy immune system.

At this time I also introduced cows milk, which at first he was a little wary of because of the different taste, but after a few days was fine. Its certainly easier than making up formula!

You are probably best to ask your health visitor before proceeding, as they will know your baby's circumstances.

    Good luck!
