Bottles of Beer?

Question

Ok, I am trying to decorate my room with beer bottles...but not just Bud Light and stuff...I want unique looking bottles like red stripe and stuff...

so what are some unique looking bottles out there with cool labels and shape

delirium nocturum has a pretty cool bottle (it is a Belgium beer) Chimay, go to a local beer store In your area that sells microbrews and imports get you some cool bottles and enjoy some good beer

There aren't very many beer bottles out there with unique shapes (liquor bottles are a whole different story) but there are some very cool labels.

Anything from Lost Coast, Flying Dog, or Rogue breweries usually have cool labels, as well as beers like Shock Top or Untouchable ale.

You really have to look around for the interesting bottles.  Some that come to mind...

Belgium

Duvel - sort of squat with interesting curves

Delirium - opaque crockery bottles

So many Belgium beers come in wine bottle-shaped containers

Britain

Tons of 16 oz bottles.  Most are the same shape (fat bases with a narrow lip), but great graphics.

German

Normally 16 oz and slender compared to their British counterparts.

American

Rogue produces a crockery line up that look pretty impressive

Perhaps the most impressive bottle of all is produced by Sam Adams.  Their Utopia beer comes in a brass-looking fermentation vat.  I wouldn't suggest buying the actual beer because it is very costly but you might look for empties on ebay.

As another poster suggested, it may be better to search for great graphics rather than bottle shapes.  The Canadian brewer Unibroue has fantastic graphics.  As do a lot of other U.S., British, and Belgian brewers...
