Question:

Bottom Freezer has ice built up

I have a LG French door freezer with bottom freezer. Every couple of weeks I see the ice build up in the bottom freezer and I cannot shut the freezer door easily. So I take out the built up ice and then repeat the process every 2 weeks. The ice built up is on the base like a thick 1/2 inch sheet of ice.

What could be the problem.?
