Question:

Bottom front tooth hurts after wisdom teeth taken out?

I just got all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted like 3 days ago. Now, for some reason, one of my bottom front teeth hurts whenever I touch/push it with my finger or with my tongue. It doesn't hurt when I bite down on it but there is a weird sensation that I feel if I move it. Over the past few days after getting them extracted, I only rinsed my mouth with salt water a few times after eating food. Is it because I didn't brush my teeth and the tooth is decaying already (just after I didn't brush my teeth on the first day of the extraction)? Or is my tooth just being sensitive and it'll go away soon?

  1. Well... my wife is a hygienist and I asked her about your condition. She says there's really no correlation to you wisdom teeth being extracted and the front tooth hurting. BUT... there are a few possibilities for the pain. One...coincidence. Two... you could be abscessing (again unrelated to the extractions). You should get it checked. Three... you could have bit down too hard without realizing while you were getting the surgery, or maybe the oral surgeon bruised it during the surgery. All in all, there really is no possible link to the wisdom teeth an the front teeth, nerve or otherwise.
