Bougainvillea plant?

Question

I have two bougainvillea plants. One's a vine, and one is a bush. Does the bush need to grow along something in order to continue growing? Also, it's still in the pot that it came in and is growing like crazy. How do you really know when to get a bigger pot?

If there are roots coming out of the bottom of the pot. If the plant is top heavy and falls over. Or if it doesn't look healthy any one of these reasons is a good indication that the plant need to be re-potted.
