  1. Go take it back.

  2. I would tell them I'm taking the pool and if they don't let you then call the police and have your receipt for the pool ready and any other documentation.

  3. I think that you have a problem in that the pool is on the neighbor's property. I say that the pool belongs to them EVEN if you paid for it.  It's the same as if it was a gift to the neighbors.  Did you happen to get in writing beforehand that you would retain ownership of the pool, and was this mutual agreement in the form of a document signed by both parties? How much was this pool? If it was under $5,000, I think that you can take the neighbors to small claims court and contest their ownership. However, winning in small claims court does not automatically ensure payment in recompense of a plaintiff. You can collect the judgement by wage garnishment and liens.

Most courts encourage parties with disputes to seek alternative means of resolving disputes, if possible, before filing for suit. Have you approached the neighbors about reimbursing you for the pool?

  4. It's yours....You paid for it...so they dont have a claim to it....

  5. You probably won't have a problem if you force the issue, since you have the receipt, although they could forge a receipt from you if they are bad people.  I have heard, possession is 9/10s of the law?
