Bought a racehorse for a pet (no longer racing) - safe to place in forest/shrub/bush land?

Question

Im in Australia. I just bought a racehorse who stopped racing only 7 days ago. We have acreage but it is bushland thick with trees with some trees fallen down etc stumps etc. Would it be unsafe for the horse to be placed in there as it may have trouble with all the logs etc and trip or fall over them? Maybe try running fast and or not see them? I heard that race horses can have trouble in bush that they need a paddock? Is that true? Thanks so much for any help!

What I would do is keep in in a small space ,until all that hot feed is out of him

then walk him in the area your gonna turn him out in ,,

walk every fence water place E.C.T .



It would help if you had others with him ,,

I would never turn out a x racehorse alone in a BIG OPEN SPACE BY HIM SELF (NEVER)

He will be so used to being with people and other horses,,

Be real care

I would have friends there to help if he starats running Blind and whinning looking for other horses

T.B.S Are known to go a bit Nuts when turn out in that big of a area,

Also make sure he knows you and trusts you first ,,

I would make good frinds with him and everyday for at least 2 weeks walk him in there ,,

Watch him close

and always feed him But NO GRAIN ,,

HE will not know how to forge for him self,,

Please be carefull and TAKE ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD WITH HIM

You might want to have a vet there to give him a small shot of ACE JUST TO LET HIM CALM DOWN

He will freak out if he is by him self !!!!!
