Bought a snowboard from a friend, need advice?

She told me it was a $600 board with bindings and boots. We agreed on $300 for the board. she told me that if i paid her 150 she'd give me everything and i could pay her the other 150 back bit by bit.

the snowboard is a piece of c**p and is a kids board.

i dont want to pay her the other half of the money but i cant give the board back because theres no way she'd give me my money back

You would be right to ask for your money back, but not right in keeping her board with out paying the balance. Have you tried to sell the board?

At least give her her board and accessories back if your not going to pay for them.  Afterall you did make the deal and it is you that is changing the deal. And a deal is a deal.
