Bought a veritcal blind cut to width but can't workout how to remove the access louvres from the blinds? Help!

I have bought a vertical blind today and managed to easily cut this down to the length required, but I cannot fathom out how to remove the individual access louvres/slats from the blind? The instructions do not tell you how to do this? Any suggestions would be very helpful. Thank you!

There could be several solutions for this. Some of the blinds you can remove the 2/3 plugs at the end the bottom of the blind and they will allow you to slide the bottom out then reinsert at the length you desire. Put the plugs back in where you want the heigth to be and then cut off the remaining pieces.

There is another type of blind that doesnt require cutting the leftover lengths. they store in the actual bottom of the bling . You simply slide off the top of the bottom rail and drop in the unwanted length.

  if this  is a regular blind...look carefully at the very bottom of the bottom  plate and you will see a couple of caps ...gently pop the covers off...and the rest is simple.....let me know !

Mine have a end piece that pulls off and then you can slide the extras off.  Just replace the end piece and done.

You might want to see if there is a phone # inside the box on the instructions and contact the mfg co.
