  1. No, but it's probably a waste of ten bucks!

  2. Once in awhile, it is good to splurge. Gambling is fun, but dont let it over rule you. Good luck!

  3. For every $10 you put into the lottery, you get 14 cents back. Sound investment. Better off putting it all on the Lakers.

  4. You are more likely to spend $30 million in state lottery tickets and win nothing than you are to buy one ticket and win $30 million.

Take this advice from someone with a solid understanding of probability - lottery tickets are never a good purchase, no matter how tempting the reward they dangle in front of you.

  5. Buying 10 lottery tickets isn't bad or immoral.  Then again, neither is taking a $10 bill out of your pocket and lighting it on fire, assuming it's not a spare the air day.  The effect is almost always the same in both cases.

  6. As long as you can afford what your buying go for it.  I usually buy 25

  7. Not at all, infact they WANT you to buy as many lots of tickets so they get more money.

I can't say about yours but the odds of winning the UK National Lottery Jackpot is a little over 14 million to 1. So even if you bought a jackpot's worth of tickets (usually around 2 million) you'd still be betting against the odds at least 6 to 1.

If you have money to burn then go ahead, just don't put the deposit on that dream house until your numbers actually come up. ;)
